Fundraiser no. 4 // GOTV POSTERS: Sept 2020 - Nov 2020; raised $1,500+

Posters were sold at Black Bird Bookstore, Rare Device, Sunset Mercantile Market, Sunny Country Foods and more. Posters were displayed in homes and store fronts across San Francisco and the Bay Area! Kids got involved and educated by painting their own ‘GOTV poster’.

Handcrafted by 2 women in San Francisco, CA. Letterpress printed by Leah from Coffee n Cream Press and individually watercolor painted by me. 11”x14”.

100% of proceeds went to local causes:

Bill Wilson Center: supports and strengthens the community by serving youth and families through counseling, housing, education, and advocacy
Breakthrough Silicon Valley: prepares motivated students with limited educational opportunities for success in rigorous college-preparatory high school programs and entry into four-year colleges; also prepares outstanding high school and college students to enter careers in education.
Maitri: empower South Asian survivors of domestic violence to lead lives of dignity and self-sufficiency through holistic programs, and enable healthy relationships and gender equity through community education, engagement, and advocacy
Peninsula Food Runners: alleviate hunger and minimize food waste in the San Francisco Bay Area. Everyday, Peninsula Food Runners relays a wide variety of wonderfully prepared and non-prepared food to community food support organizations

SFUSD FAMILIES IN NEED COVID-19 FUNDRAISER

Hello friends, family and local SF community,

For the past 5 weeks of Shelter In Place, Mina (4.5yo) and I have been making paintings to raise money for our local SFUSD elementary schools who need help with food during this time. Mina currently goes to a SFUSD preschool in our neighborhood and we know some of her friends rely on school lunches for food. :( Mina and I are both "working" to help our friends. 5 weeks in and we have raised over $1,800 (many of you have already donated, thank you!) and made over 80 paintings! The suggested donation for each painting is $25 - Venmo me and I will make a donation to the SFUSD site (https://www.sparksfpublicschools.org/donate). Alternatively, donate using the SFUSD link, send me confirmation and I will mail you a painting of your choice!

Each painting is 4 7/8” x 7” and would be a wonderful gift for a friend or a painting in your home! Please note, there is only 1 of each painting.
